We're looking for an Incident Response Support Specialist to join the Data Protection team of our client, a global technology company, to support them for 12-18 months.

You will be supporting the Data Protection team on its incident management and response program. The primary focus of your role will be to support the assessment and notification of personal data breaches and security incidents under relevant European legislation (i.e., GDPR, ePD, EECC, NIS-D, NIS 2).

Your role will include:

  • Supporting a team of lawyers in the assessment and notification of personal data breaches and security incidents under relevant European legislation
  • Supporting on the engagement with the relevant European regulators, in relation to reported breaches
  • Drafting relevant documentation to comply with incident notification requirements
  • Supporting on high-impact projects to develop and improve the incident management and response program
  • Coordinating with cross-functional partners to implement improvements to policies and processes

You'll be joining a supportive, dynamic team. Ideally you will have:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including at a law firm or in house experience,
  • in depth knowledge of GDPR, ePD, EECC, NIS D incident reporting requirements,
  • experience working with regulators and responding to regulatory enquiries, and
  • a project management mindset and strong organisational skills.

Experience working within another fast paced technology company would be beneficial but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a great team whilst getting exposure to high quality work from a global household name.

This assignment will be full time on a hybrid model with some days working from the London office. It is expected to run for 12-18 months.
